The RUBI Story
In 2020, Arctand Labs unveiled the RUBI USB, a cable that captivated Singapore’s audiophiles with its approach to optimization and the rare peace of mind it brings to maximizing hifi music streaming quality.
Four years of innovation honed its successor: the RUBI² USB.
Fueled by a relentless pursuit of innovation, Arctand Labs improved upon the original silver-plated design. Threading this fine balance of engineering and artistic vision, the Hybrid² structure was developed to deliver uncompromised signal transmission, both in theory and practice.

In Generation 2, Arctand Labs has combined precision engineering with the art of material selection. Compared to lower quality silver-plating, our curated Copper-Silver Hybrid maintains a continuous, single-crystal structure across the transmission medium.
When combined with our precision-engineered 90Ω geometry, RUBI² USB maximizes the potential of digital streaming down to the last bit.

True 90 Ohm, Low Loss Geometry.
Engineered Performance
Tried and tested across years, our low capacitance PTFE insulation, stable 90 Ohm (+-2 Deviation) structure nets an ultra-low-loss performance—allowing a vast bandwidth of 8GHz. Arctand Labs maintains the same standard of proper transmission, resulting in truer imaging and tonality.


Hybrid² Stranding Technology.
Beyond Conventional Hybrids
A bold redefinition of hybrid cable design through our proprietary stranding. By precisely calibrating the sonic characteristics between different Copper OCC and Silver OCC foundries, we’ve created a signal path that preserves musical information previously lost in transmission.

Arctand Labs’ Vground architecture is custom-tuned for digital circuits to lower ground noise, impedance fluctuations, and unwanted resonances. Enhanced midrange resolution, richer tonal depth, and a soundstage free from muddling resonances in critical spectral bands.
Proprietary Grounding Architecture
Optimized for digital circuits, VGround takes into consideration the ratios of electrical lengths for all grounding nodes. Tuned to reject resonances at USB Frequencies, Vground provides superior noise rejection and stability.
Enhanced Midrange Resolution
By reducing grounding noise and lowering impedance pathways, VGround Technology brings out the nuanced details in sensitive midrange frequencies.

PHYSICAL SEPARATION
By employing a separate star-quad cable to provide 5V DC, power line noise emissions are reduced by 200x (46dB), and prevented from polluting the data lines.
