The Architectural Advantage: Arctand AES Implementation
For the best signal integrity, Arctand Labs specifically integrates the Neutrik NC3-EMC Series XLR Plug in the OBSIDIAN² AES design, forming a continuous RF shield for critical applications in recording and playback. Internally, a ring capacitor network performs filtering at a cutoff frequency of 10 MHz, with a series ferrite bead connected from the cable shield to Pin 1 further reducing ground noise at 1 MHz.
